The ESD-apparatus swivel caster with back hole 550 is designed for a maximum load capacity of 40 kg and is ideal for use in environments where electrostatic discharges must be avoided. The housing is made of lightweight, pressed, and galvanized sheet steel and comes with a thread guard. The fork head features a double ball bearing that ensures smooth movement.
The wheel of the caster has a diameter of 50 mm and a width of 18 mm. It is made of polypropylene and is equipped with a black, electrically conductive rubber tire that has a Shore hardness of about 85 Shore A. The electrical conductivity of the wheel meets the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1, ensuring safety in sensitive electronic work areas.
The caster is equipped with a back hole of 10.2 mm for mounting and offers an overhang of 21 mm. Note that plasticizer diffusion can cause discoloration of the floor. This caster is ideal for use in the electronics industry or other areas where ESD protection is required.
