The ESD device caster with mounting plate 550 is distinguished by its high load capacity of 40 kg and its ESD compliance according to DIN EN 61340-5-1. The housing is made of lightweight, pressed, and galvanized sheet steel, featuring double ball bearings in the fork head and equipped with a mounting plate. The mounting plate measures 60 x 60 mm, while the screw hole spacing varies between 38 and 46 mm and the screw hole itself has a diameter of 6.2 mm.
The wheel of the ESD caster has a diameter of 50 mm and a width of 18 mm. The wheel body is made of polypropylene and is fitted with a ball bearing. The tread made of black rubber is electrically conductive and has a Shore hardness of 85 A, indicating high resilience and durability. Despite the robust construction, contact discoloration of the floor can occur due to plasticizer diffusion.
The caster is unbraked and specifically designed for use in ESD-sensitive environments to ensure safe and efficient handling of sensitive equipment.
