EPAchair® – ESD swivel chairs, stools and more
EPAchair® is an exclusive brand of DPV Elektronik-Service GmbH. The ESD swivel chairs, stools and standing aids are developed according to the latest findings. They guarantee ergonomic sitting and reliable ESD safety at the workplace.
All models are manufactured in Germany and are ESD-compliant in accordance with IEC (DIN EN) 61340-5-1.
A large selection of models, options, upholstery and covers enables optimum integration into the respective ESD-protected working environment.
You can choose from a wide range of seating options, from ergonomic work swivel chairs with an intervertebral disc-friendly seat, high chairs and active standing aids to swivel stools with, for example, a saddle seat or sprung 3D rocking function for a healthy posture and active back-relieving sitting.
Carefully selected materials and components guarantee very high quality and excellent value for money.
Asynchronous mechanism
Almost all EPAchair® swivel chairs have a permanent contact backrest.
The inclination of the backrest and seat can be adjusted individually and independently of each other.
Adjustable backrest
All backrests are individually adjustable in height and inclination, depending on the model, steplessly or gradually.
Adjustable seat height
Thanks to the safety gas spring, all EPAchair® models are steplessly height-adjustable.
The seat height ranges vary between approx. 41 cm and 56 cm depending on the model.
Adjustable seat tilt
Depending on the model, the seat tilt can be adjusted by up to 20°.
Adjustable seat depth
The seat depth of the EPAchair® swivel chairs in the Comfort series can also be individually adjusted.
High load capacity
All EPAchair® models are designed for a person weighing up to 120 kg

Upholstery and covers
Various hard-wearing and easy-care upholstery and covers made of fabric, synthetic leather or solid PU material are available. You can find a detailed description in the "Our upholstery and covers" overview below.
Dissipative back and seat shells
The shells are made of stable polyurethane and are dissipative in accordance with DIN EN 61340-5-1.
Multifunctional armrest
The height-adjustable ESD armrests are ergonomically shaped and have a pleasantly soft padded, waterproof and washable support surface.
EPAchair® Made in Germany
The EPAchair® ESD swivel chairs are all developed and manufactured in Germany.
Our upholstery and covers
The durable upholstery made of certified polyurethane foam with a density of up to 34 kg/m3 is characterized by excellent hygienic properties in addition to its dimensional stability.
1-3 Fabric dralon® ESD
The highly durable ESD upholstery fabric is breathable, easy-care and dissipative in accordance with DIN EN 61340-5-1.
4 Synthetic leather skai® ESD
The dissipative synthetic leather cover is particularly hard-wearing, washable and insensitive to oil.
5 PU solid ESD material
The pleasantly soft, conductive polyurethane foam is washable and hard-wearing thanks to its closed antibacterial surface.
ESD multifunctional armrest
Dissipative armrests are available for all ESD swivel chairs in the Classic and Comfort series.

Longer gas spring
If you require an extended seat height, a longer gas spring can be fitted at the factory for a small extra charge, depending on the model. This must be specified when ordering as it cannot be retrofitted at a later date.

Safety castors and glides
All swivel chairs are fitted with soft ESD safety castors for hard floors as standard.
Hard ESD castors can be ordered as an option for soft floors. The EPAchair® high chairs and high chairs and standing aids are equipped with ESD glides for all floor types.
All castors and glides comply with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1.
