Radial components

Radial components are electronic components in which the connections or pins are arranged laterally around the body of the component. The connections are usually arranged in a circle, giving the component a round or cylindrical shape. Radial components are used in particular in the assembly of printed circuit boards.

This contrasts with axial components.
