The Uvex safety shoe Boa® ESD 1 in black/yellow combines advanced safety technologies with the highest wearing comfort. This model is equipped with a xenova® plastic cap and meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 S1 SRC, making it particularly suitable for work environments with electrostatic discharge risks. The upper material made of perforated microvelour ensures breathability and durability.
The size range extends from 35 to 52, offering a comprehensive selection for various foot sizes. The innovative Boa® closure allows for quick, individual adjustment and secure fit. For additional comfort, the replaceable, cushioning comfort insoles meet the orthopedic requirements according to DGUV 112-191.
The PU/PU outsole provides excellent slip resistance (SRC) and makes the shoe a safe choice for a wide range of work areas. Weighing about 525 g in size 42, this safety shoe is a lightweight option that still offers robust protection. Special widths are available on request to meet specific needs.

Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Very lightweight shoe
The shoe is made of textile material and therefore has a low weight (size 42 less than 500 g). The low weight significantly reduces the effort and energy required from the wearer.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
BOA® Fit System
The BOA® Fit System consists of three essential components: a finely adjustable twist lock, a lightweight yet extremely strong rope and low-friction rope guides. All BOA® Fit systems enable a precise fit quickly and effortlessly and come with the BOA® guarantee.
uvex xenova® system
The high-performance, completely metal-free uvex xenova® system is used to protect the foot in the safety shoe. The protective toe cap fits perfectly and guarantees special comfort when working on the knees and bumping. The flexible, penetration-resistant midsole fits exactly to the insole in its width, does not act as a cold bridge and thus promotes comfort when worn.

Safety shoe ESD uvex 1

The uvex 1 safety sandals and safety shoes are high-quality products from the manufacturer Uvex that have been specially designed for protection in industrial environments.
