The PUMA SAFETY ESD Velocity 2.0 Blue Low safety shoe is specifically designed for high safety requirements in the industry and crafts sectors. This low-cut shoe in blue offers effective protection with a fiberglass cap and a flexible penetration-resistant layer made from textile fibers, certified according to EN ISO 20345 S1P SRC standards. The durable microfiber upper material is reinforced with TPU and, together with the rubber sole that is resistant to oil, acid, and gasoline, the shoe provides excellent durability and safety. The outsole features the 3D Triple Density Technology and IMPULSE.FOAM® midsole, which not only has antistatic properties but also ensures outstanding cushioning and rebound. Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.

The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
3D Triple Density
