PCB separators

PCB separators are are essential devices in modern electronics production that are used for the precise and safe separation of PCBs. In series production, electronic assemblies are often manufactured in panels in order to optimize the manufacturing process and increase efficiency. The PCBs are only separated once all assembly and soldering processes have been completed in order to minimize mechanical stress and damage to sensitive components.

In ESD-protected areas (EPA zones) in particular, PCB separators play a crucial role. Here they must meet the highest standards of electrostatic safety in order to protect sensitive electronic components from damage caused by uncontrolled electrostatic discharges. Specially developed PCB separators for use in EPA zones have conductive or dissipative materials and grounded components to ensure safe processing.

Whether manual or motorized systems - modern depaneling systems offer tailor-made solutions for various requirements and make a significant contribution to high process reliability and consistent product quality in electronics production.
