The KNIPEX ISO 1000V 280 mm cable cutters are specifically designed for cutting Cu and Al cables, both single and multi-strand, and provide an efficient solution for working under voltage up to 1000 volts. These VDE-tested tools are characterized by a compact design and low weight, making them ideal for use even in confined spaces.
The cable cutters are not suitable for use with steel wire, wire ropes, or highly flexible conductors, but can effectively cut Al conductors up to 4 x 150 mm² sector cables. The hardened cutting edges with precision grinding ensure smooth, clean cuts without crushing, supported by a two-speed planetary gear drive that facilitates cutting.
The handling of the scissors is possible with one hand due to the ratchet principle, while the integrated pinch protection prevents pinch injuries. The tools are made of high-quality chrome-plated tool steel and meet strict VDE standards, underscoring their safety and reliability.
