The ESD tweezer with plastic tip 2ACF.SA by Ideal-Tek is a high-quality universal tweezer specifically designed for handling sensitive components such as glass and ceramic substrates. This tweezer is made of stainless steel and features a sandblasted surface and a plastic tip made of 66% polyamide and 30% carbon fiber. This combination of materials ensures very high stiffness as well as excellent tensile and bending strength.
The tweezer is characterized by its ESD safety and a maximum temperature resistance of 190°C for short-term use. The surface resistance is at 102 Ω. Its pointed, straight shape with a very fine, rounded gripping surface allows for precise work without damaging the sensitive materials. The tweezer is heat stabilized up to 130°C for continuous use and offers good chemical resistance to oils, greases, fuels, and non-polar solvents, but is not resistant to strong acids, alkalis, hot water, or steam.
With a length of 130 mm and a weight of 17 g, this Swiss Made tool provides excellent handling for applications in micromechanics, electronic assembly, and laboratories.
