Universal stripping pliers AWG 26 - 10

The KNIPEX Universal Wire Stripper AWG 26 - 10 offers an efficient solution for stripping insulation materials such as Teflon®, Silicone, Radox®, Kapton®, and Rubber, even with multi-layer insulations. This tool features precisely ground form blades that do not damage the conductor and allow for gentle stripping of fine-stranded wires. A second pair of blades secures the remaining insulation, which is particularly useful in series production due to the adjustable length stop, ensuring consistent stripping lengths.
The pliers are compact and easy to handle, with a length of 195 mm and a weight of 445 g. Its mechanics are smooth, which, combined with the compact design, ensures high operating comfort. Four interchangeable blades increase flexibility and adaptability to different conductor cross-sections. The tool is made of burnished material, measures 73 mm in width and 19 mm in height, and has a capacity of 0.14 to 6.0 mm² (AWG 26 - 10). This model does not have ESD protection.

Knipex precision wire strippers with shaped blades

They offer a high level of everyday usefulness, even with non-everyday insulation materials that are difficult to remove. Precision wire strippers from Knipex protect the conductor in the cable when stripping and make life easier for the user thanks to their ergonomics and high functionality. Two pairs of blades: division of labor for the desired result

Knipex wire strippers have been specially developed for very tough and hard insulation materials, which have to be cut almost all the way through before they can be stripped. Two pairs of blades cut the insulation of the cable around the entire circumference. The forming blades are shaped and cut in such a way that the cut comes very close to the conductor. After cutting, one of the two pairs of blades remains stationary and holds the cut insulation in place. The other pair of blades strips the insulation to be removed from the cable end.

Length stop for reproducible stripping results

For reproducible, i.e. consistent stripping results, the precision stripping pliers have a length stop that can be easily adjusted by pressing and sliding. This achieves stripping results that meet the expectations of consistently high standards, even with demanding insulation materials.

Insert the cable, squeeze the pliers - the cable is stripped

These stripping pliers make work much easier. Once the cable has been inserted, the entire stripping process is carried out automatically with a simple squeeze of the hand. Even insulation materials that are difficult to work with are reliably removed with precision and repeat accuracy thanks to the length stop: a benefit for installers working in the fields of energy technology, plant and vehicle construction, for example.
