The ESD Cleanroom Basic 3 by bimos has been specifically developed for use in critical cleanroom environments and meets the high requirements for particle freedom and electrostatic discharge. This swivel chair is certified for air cleanliness class 3 according to DIN EN ISO 14644-1 and class 1 according to US Fed. Std. 209E, highlighting its suitability for sensitive work areas.The seat height can be adjusted from 63 to 89 cm, facilitated by a side lever. The polished aluminum base and conductive gliders ensure stability and safe mobility in the cleanroom. The chair is equipped with a durable, disinfectant-resistant synthetic leather cover that is free from phthalates, PVC, and softeners, and carries the Oeko-Tex label for environmental friendliness.
The backrest has a height of 53 cm and supports an ergonomic sitting posture through the permanent contact feature, minimizing physical fatigue. The chair supports up to 120 kg and comes standard without armrests, though a conductive back shell is optionally available.
