Basic 1 ESD swivel chair with seat tilt adjustment

The Basic 1 ESD swivel chair, manufactured by bimos, offers a comprehensive solution for work environments that require ESD protection. This chair is made from volume-conductive plastic and features conductive comfort cushions and glides, making it ideal for use in sensitive electronic manufacturing areas. The seat tilt adjustment and height-adjustable backrest allow for individual customization to the user's body size, promoting an ergonomic seating posture.
The PLUS version of the chair includes a conductive back outer shell, providing additional protection. The base frame made of black epoxy-coated profiled steel tube is not only robust but also design-oriented. The chair is GS-certified and complies with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1 and DIN 68877. With a maximum load capacity of 120 kg and a seat size of 46 x 44 cm, the chair offers comfort and safety. The seat height can be adjusted from 47 to 61 cm, and the chair is optionally upholstered in fabric or synthetic leather. Designed without armrests, this swivel chair is an ideal choice for technically oriented workplaces.

ESD suitability of the BASIC swivel chair

The Basic ESD swivel chair is suitable for use in electrostatically protected areas, as it is characterized by reliable ESD protection. The EN 61340-5-1 standard specifies the required resistances, which the BASIC chair meets.

The ESD BASIC swivel chair in three models

Der The ESD BASIC offers all the typical Bimos benefits - whether at a low or high working height. It is available in three versions that are optimally adapted to different workplace requirements:

  • Model 1: For low working positions with glides
  • Model 2: For low working positions with castors
  • Model 3: For high working positions with glides

The PLUS version also has a conductive back shell and therefore offers even more protection in sensitive ESD areas.
