PE foam, dissipative 353x253x3 mm

The offered PE foam with dimensions 353x253x3 mm is characterized by its electrostatic discharge capability and is certified according to the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1. This product made of closed-cell, cross-linked polyethylene offers excellent corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance, making it particularly durable. The surface of the foam has different resistance values depending on the side: The side with skin ranges between 10^5 and 10^6 Ohm, while the side without skin has a resistance of 10^7 to 10^8 Ohm.
With a material density of 46 kg/cm³ and a maximum operating temperature of 90 °C, this foam is ideally suited for applications as plug-in foam, interlayers, or partition walls in containers, as well as a workplace mat. The robust and flexible nature makes it an optimal choice for technical applications in various industrial sectors. The material is colored in black, which additionally provides a discreet appearance.

PE foam interlayers, dissipative

These PE foam interlayers are electrostatically dissipative. They are covered with a thin layer (skin) on one side. The PE foams are also suitable for use as plug-in foam, workstation underlays and partition walls for containers.

The PE foam interlayers are characterized by the following properties:

  • cross-linked
  • closed-cell
  • corrosion-free
  • abrasion-resistant
  • black
  • typical surface resistance: 105 - 106 Ohm (side with skin)
  • typical surface resistance: 107 - 108 Ohm (side without skin)
  • in compliance with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1

The interlayers are available in predefined dimensions or as individual cuttings.
