The Elten Corby XXE black low safety shoe combines functionality with modern design, ideal for technical and industrial work environments. This low-cut shoe is made from a durable microfiber and mesh construction that is both breathable and resilient. Equipped with a steel toe cap and a metal-free puncture-resistant layer, it offers optimal protection in accordance with standards DIN EN 61340-5-1, EN ISO 20345 S1, and SRC.
The WELLMAXX series rubber sole, developed with BASF's Infinergy® core technology, ensures excellent cushioning and energy return. Additionally, the shoe is oil and chemical resistant, antistatic, and offers excellent slip resistance. The lace-up closure allows for a custom fit, while the replaceable ESD PRO black footbed and the breathable textile lining ensure comfort. Available in sizes from 40 to 48 and in an attractive black-gray color scheme, this shoe is suitable for both men and women. Ideal for areas where safety and comfort are required.

Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
BASF Infinergy®
Elastic like rubber, but resiliently light. The world's first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU). Combines the properties of TPU with the advantages of foams. Infinergy® has a low density, is extremely elastic and abrasion-resistant and has very good resilience. Infinergy® also has a permanent load-bearing capacity in a wide temperature range (-20 to over +40°C).
