The safety shoe LAKERS black Low ESD by Elten combines high safety standards with modern design and comfort for professional use. This unisex low shoe is available in sizes 35 to 49 and is characterized by its black color. Equipped with a plastic toe cap and a metal-free penetration guard, it meets the safety class S1P according to EN ISO 20345 and additionally offers slip resistance according to SRC.The upper material is made of a robust microfiber with mesh inserts, making the shoe breathable and ensuring a comfortable foot climate. The PU/PU sole of the FUN series is oil and chemical resistant as well as antistatic. A special feature is the possibility to use orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259, which increases wearing comfort. The insole ESD PRO black is also replaceable.
The shoe weighs 560 g in size 42 and is equipped with a practical lace-up closure that ensures an optimal fit. Ideal for use in environments that require both safety and comfort.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
