Safety shoe K2 AM ESD

The K2 AM ESD safety shoe from the HKS Airmotion series offers an optimal combination of comfort and protection for indoor use. This unisex low-cut shoe is characterized by its lightweight, breathable Cordura® upper, which ensures pleasant air circulation and allows for extended wear without discomfort. The shoes are completely metal-free and vegan, making them not only lightweight but also versatile.
Equipped with a TPA toe cap and an additional overcap, as well as a textile penetration protection, the shoe meets the S3 safety class according to EN ISO 20345. Reflective applications enhance visibility, while the TPU rubber sole with Air-Cell cushioning provides excellent wearing comfort. A dust protection flap prevents the penetration of dirt and dust.
The shoe is available in sizes 36 to 48 and features a sporty black and yellow design. Other features include a practical lace-up closure, a slip-resistant outsole (SRC), a replaceable textile lining, and the option to use orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191. Weighing just 565 g in size 42, this safety shoe offers an excellent balance between protection and mobility.

Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Overcap
The toe cap is usually made of plastic material (e.g. PU or TPU) and is firmly attached to the shoe. It protects the front area of a work shoe from premature wear and thus extends the service life of the safety shoe.
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.

Safety shoe AIRMOTION K1 AM / K2 AM

The K1 AM safety sandal and K2 AM safety shoes from HKS combine sporty elegance with high functionality and safety. The models from the AIRMOTION series are characterized by their lightweight and breathable upper material made of Cordura and microfiber, which makes them ideal for indoor use and prolonged wear. They are completely metal-free and vegan, offer a TPU rubber sole with Air-Cell cushioning and are equipped with a TPA toe cap and additional overcap protection.
The models are resistant to oil and petrol and meet the EN ISO 20345 standard with class S1P. The outsole is antistatic and offers slip resistance in accordance with the SRC standard. The replaceable textile lining, a replaceable insole and the option of using orthopaedic insoles in accordance with DGUV 112-191 provide additional comfort.

The models differ in their closures. The safety sandal has a velcro fastener and the safety shoe has a lace fastener.
