The Uvex ESD 1 G2 Planet safety shoe, available in Black, Green, and Blue, is an ideal choice for technical and industrial work environments. This unisex model, available in sizes 35 to 52, features a lightweight design with 25% recycled materials, making it especially environmentally friendly. The shoes are silicone-free and thus suitable for those allergic to chrome.The shoes meet the standards EN ISO 20345:2011 S1P SRC and DIN EN 61340-5-1, ensuring the highest safety standards. They have a plastic toe cap and metal-free puncture protection, while the TPU outsole is both oil- and petrol-resistant and offers excellent slip resistance. Elastic laces and a TPU toe cap increase the durability and functionality of the shoe.
For added comfort, the cushioning comfort insole, suitable for orthopedic inserts according to DGUV 112-191, can be easily replaced. The standard width 11 and the light weight starting from 501 grams in size 42 make this textile half-shoe particularly comfortable to wear.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Very lightweight shoe
The shoe is made of textile material and therefore has a low weight (size 42 less than 500 g). The low weight significantly reduces the effort and energy required from the wearer.
Overcap
The toe cap is usually made of plastic material (e.g. PU or TPU) and is firmly attached to the shoe. It protects the front area of a work shoe from premature wear and thus extends the service life of the safety shoe.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
uvex xenova® system
The high-performance, completely metal-free uvex xenova® system is used to protect the foot in the safety shoe. The protective toe cap fits perfectly and guarantees special comfort when working on the knees and bumping. The flexible, penetration-resistant midsole fits exactly to the insole in its width, does not act as a cold bridge and thus promotes comfort when worn.
