The safety boot Robert2 ESD from BAAK, a high-quality model from the "Baak Sports light" series, is specifically designed for demanding work environments. This boot combines safety and comfort in a robust design. The upper material made of cow nubuck leather is not only water-repellent but also climate-regulating, which ensures a comfortable foot climate. The composite toe cap and the metal-free, flexible midsole provide optimal protection and make the shoe particularly lightweight, weighing only 625 g in size 42.The slip-resistant nitrile outsole meets the safety class S3 and the standard EN ISO 20345 S3 SRC, making the shoe ideal for slippery surfaces. The EVA midsole provides additional cushioning and comfort. For individual adjustments, the insoles are orthopedically certified (DGUV 112-191, ÖNORM Z 1259) and replaceable. Available in sizes 36-48 and in the color combination black/gray, this safety boot offers a combination of functionality and modern design.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
