Safety shoe Red ESD
The Red ESD safety shoe from BAAK, specially designed for the highest safety requirements, combines innovative technologies with comfortable features. This low shoe from the "Baak Sports light" series is made of abrasion-resistant microfiber and textile, making it particularly robust. The surface features an attractive black-red-white design, available in sizes 36 to 48.A special feature of the shoe is the metal-free composite toe cap and the puncture-resistant, flexible midsole, which, together with the slip-resistant nitrile outsole, ensures optimal safety. The standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 S1P SRC confirm the high quality and safety. Additional comfort is provided by the full-surface cushioning through an EVA midsole and the possibility to use orthopedic inserts according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259.
The shoes are equipped with a replaceable Baak Softstep insole, which provides ergonomic foot support. The light weight of 530 g in size 42 and the practical lace-up closure complete the profile of this highly functional safety shoe. Ideal for work environments that require the highest safety standards.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
