Safety shoe Mars ESD
The Mars ESD safety shoe from U-Power combines functionality with modern design and offers comprehensive protection for industry and crafts. This low shoe is available in sizes 35 to 48 and comes in an attractive gray tone. It is certified according to EN ISO 20345:2011 and meets the safety class S1PS.The upper material is made of soft, perforated suede with mesh inserts, which not only ensures high breathability but is also enhanced by a PU toe cap protection. The composite toe cap and the metal-free, textile puncture protection offer optimal safety, while the PU midsole and the slip-resistant PU outsole (SR) provide stability and security under various working conditions.
Another highlight is the WingTex lining, which ensures a comfortable foot climate. The shoe is suitable for both men and women and weighs about 650 g in size 42. The standard width 11 and the practical lace-up closure guarantee a perfect fit and comfortable wear.
Additionally, the shoe is oil-resistant, antistatic, and meets the additional requirements FO, making it an ideal companion for demanding work environments.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1PS
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant textile insole (tested with a 3 mm test nail with at least 1100 N pressure) and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.

Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SR
The shoe is slip-resistant on ceramic tile floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Overcap
The toe cap is usually made of plastic material (e.g. PU or TPU) and is firmly attached to the shoe. It protects the front area of a work shoe from premature wear and thus extends the service life of the safety shoe.
Save and Flex plus
The exclusive puncture-resistant "no metal" insole is lighter than traditional steel, more flexible and safer. It is connected directly to the shaft and guarantees 100% penetration resistance.
U-POWER uses only the high-quality, puncture-resistant "Save & Flex" PLUS insole for all of its own products, the pressure load of which is far higher than required by the current standard.
