The CORTRONIC American Box TAB, manufactured by Kolb, is a highly functional packaging solution specifically designed for technical applications. This box, with interior dimensions of 362 x 251 x 220 mm and exterior dimensions of 373 x 259 x 236 mm, not only provides ample space but also effectively protects its contents from electrostatic discharges, as it complies with the standards of DIN EN 61340-5-1.
The surfaces of the box are coated on both the inside and outside with electrostatic dissipative material and additionally feature a water-repellent and scratch-resistant layer on the outside, making the box particularly durable. The black box is also stackable, which simplifies storage and transport. The surface resistance is between 10^7 and 10^8 Ohm, ensuring high shielding effectiveness.
The box is fully recyclable and features standard prints such as the ESD warning label, type designation, and the recycling symbol, to support sustainability efforts and ease handling.
