The Dri-Shield® 2000 protective bag from 3M-SCS, measuring 254 x 762 mm, is a highly functional shielding and barrier bag, specifically designed for protection against moisture and electrostatic discharges. This bag is made from an innovative multilayer that combines dissipative polyethylene and polyester, as well as metallized polyester film, to provide an effective barrier against water vapor and electromagnetic interference.The technical specifications include electrostatic shielding under 10 nJ and EMI shielding of 45 dB, making it fully compliant with standards MIL-PRF-81705 Type 1, EIA 583, EIA 541, EIA 625, and EOS/ESD. The bag is vacuum sealable, weldable, and meets RoHS directives by being lead-free.
With a thickness of 0.09 mm and a water vapor transmission rate of 0.0543 g/m², the protective bag offers a robust solution for demanding applications. The packaging unit (VPE) contains 100 pieces, each featuring a standard print with ESD warning symbol, moisture symbol, type designation, and LOT number. The surface resistance of the material ranges between 10^4 and 10^11 Ω, highlighting the high quality and reliability of the protective bag.
