The HKS Challenger Power On Series safety shoe, model CPO-15, offers an optimal combination of protection and comfort for use in demanding work environments. This model features an upper made of microfiber and is equipped with a robust steel toe cap and a textile puncture-resistant layer to ensure maximum safety. The TPU rubber sole with Air-Cell cushioning provides excellent abrasion resistance and comfort.
Additionally, the shoe has a water-repellent feature and is certified vegan and antistatic according to EN ISO 20345. The shoes are available in sizes 39 to 48 and in black and blue colors. They have a slip-resistant SRC outsole and a replaceable insole, making them orthopedically adjustable according to DGUV 112-191.
With features like clamping hooks for additional stability, a dust-protective tongue, and a cool mesh lining, the CPO-15 is ideal for professional use. The use of sustainable and recycled materials also highlights HKS's commitment to environmental awareness.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Overcap
The toe cap is usually made of plastic material (e.g. PU or TPU) and is firmly attached to the shoe. It protects the front area of a work shoe from premature wear and thus extends the service life of the safety shoe.
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
