The Uvex safety boot ESD 1 Business in blue combines modern design with comprehensive safety technology. This boot is made of high-quality micro velour and features a steel toe cap and metal-free penetration protection, making it particularly robust. The PU outsole is oil and petrol resistant and offers excellent slip resistance (SRC), making the shoe ideal for demanding work environments.
The shoes comply with the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 S3 SRC and are suitable for orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191. They are available in sizes 39 to 52. The insole is replaceable and provides additional comfort. The shoe weight is approximately 620 g in size 42, and the standard width 11 allows for a comfortable fit. Special widths are available on request.
This safety shoe is specifically designed for men and offers secure footing thanks to its lacing closure. The uvex 2 trend series stands for quality and safety that meets the needs of professional users.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Very lightweight shoe
The shoe is made of textile material and therefore has a low weight (size 42 less than 500 g). The low weight significantly reduces the effort and energy required from the wearer.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
