The Uvex 1 Ladies ESD safety sandal is distinguished by a combination of functionality and comfort, specifically designed for use in technical professions. This model, manufactured by Uvex, offers effective protection according to the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 S1 SRC. It features a wide xenova® plastic toe cap that protects the toe area, while the slip-resistant PU/PU outsole ensures excellent traction.
The upper material made of perforated microvelour provides breathability and is presented in an attractive gray-pink color scheme. The sandal is equipped with a practical Velcro fastener, which allows for quick putting on and taking off and ensures optimal support. The size range extends from 35 to 43, with the shoe weight at size 42 being only 440 g.
Additionally, the sandal is suitable for the use of orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191 and features a cushioning comfort insole that is replaceable. This makes it an ideal choice for professionals who value both safety and comfort.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Very lightweight shoe
The shoe is made of textile material and therefore has a low weight (size 42 less than 500 g). The low weight significantly reduces the effort and energy required from the wearer.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
uvex xenova® system
The high-performance, completely metal-free uvex xenova® system is used to protect the foot in the safety shoe. The protective toe cap fits perfectly and guarantees special comfort when working on the knees and bumping. The flexible, penetration-resistant midsole fits exactly to the insole in its width, does not act as a cold bridge and thus promotes comfort when worn.
