The Uvex safety shoe ESD 1 G2 in black/orange combines functionality with modern design and provides comprehensive protection for industrial use. This unisex model is available in sizes 35 to 52 and meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 S1 SRC, making it an excellent choice for work environments with electronic components. The upper made of perforated microvelour and the breathable Distance Mesh lining ensure high wearing comfort and air circulation. The wide xenova® plastic toe cap effectively protects against impacts and pressure. For additional safety, the highly slip-resistant TPU outsole is included. The shoe features a practical quick-release closure, a replaceable, cushioning comfort insole and meets the requirements of DGUV 112-191 for orthopedic inserts. Weighing about 520 g in size 42, the shoe offers an optimal balance between protection and comfort. Special widths are available on request, further improving the fit.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Very lightweight shoe
The shoe is made of textile material and therefore has a low weight (size 42 less than 500 g). The low weight significantly reduces the effort and energy required from the wearer.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
uvex xenova® system
The high-performance, completely metal-free uvex xenova® system is used to protect the foot in the safety shoe. The protective toe cap fits perfectly and guarantees special comfort when working on the knees and bumping. The flexible, penetration-resistant midsole fits exactly to the insole in its width, does not act as a cold bridge and thus promotes comfort when worn.
