The Uvex safety shoe ESD 1 G2 in Black/Yellow is a highly functional low shoe, specifically developed for demanding work environments. This model combines a wide xenova® plastic cap with an upper made of perforated microvelour and a Distance Mesh lining, ensuring breathability. The TPU outsole provides excellent slip resistance according to SRC standard.
Available in sizes 35 to 52, the shoe meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 S1 SRC, making it an ideal choice for work areas requiring ESD protection and safety. The replaceable cushioning comfort insole and the option to use orthopedic inserts according to DGUV 112-191 offer additional comfort and adaptability.
The quick release allows for easy putting on and taking off, while the metal-free penetration protection provides additional safety. The shoe is suitable for both men and women and can be adjusted for special widths. With its standard width of 11, the Uvex safety shoe ESD 1 G2 offers both protection and comfort throughout the day.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Very lightweight shoe
The shoe is made of textile material and therefore has a low weight (size 42 less than 500 g). The low weight significantly reduces the effort and energy required from the wearer.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
uvex xenova® system
The high-performance, completely metal-free uvex xenova® system is used to protect the foot in the safety shoe. The protective toe cap fits perfectly and guarantees special comfort when working on the knees and bumping. The flexible, penetration-resistant midsole fits exactly to the insole in its width, does not act as a cold bridge and thus promotes comfort when worn.
