Safety shoe ESD 1 Sport blue
The Uvex safety shoe ESD 1 Sport in blue meets the highest safety standards according to DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 (S1P, SRC) and is available in sizes from 35 to 52. This unisex low shoe features a plastic toe cap and a metal-free penetration guard, making it particularly safe in the workplace. The breathable textile upper and the cushioning comfort insole, which is orthopedically adjustable and replaceable, offer high wearing comfort. The sole is slip-resistant (SRC) and antistatic, which further enhances safety.
The shoes are equipped with a lace-up closure and weigh approximately 501 to 551 g in size 42. Uvex also offers special widths upon request. Some models are marked as discontinued items, for which the UX-65942 is available as an alternative. The shoe is ideal for work environments that require both safety and comfort.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Very lightweight shoe
The shoe is made of textile material and therefore has a low weight (size 42 less than 500 g). The low weight significantly reduces the effort and energy required from the wearer.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
uvex xenova® system
The high-performance, completely metal-free uvex xenova® system is used to protect the foot in the safety shoe. The protective toe cap fits perfectly and guarantees special comfort when working on the knees and bumping. The flexible, penetration-resistant midsole fits exactly to the insole in its width, does not act as a cold bridge and thus promotes comfort when worn.
