The Uvex ESD 1 ladies safety shoe, specifically designed for women, combines functionality with a modern design in gray and pink colors. This low shoe features a wide xenova® plastic cap and a PU/PU outsole that ensures excellent slip resistance (SRC). The upper material is made of perforated microvelour, which is not only breathable but also ensures a comfortable fit. The shoes are available in sizes 35 to 43 and meet the standards EN ISO 20345:2011 S1 and DIN EN 61340-5-1. They are also suitable for orthopedic inserts according to DGUV 112-191. The cushioning comfort insole is replaceable, providing additional comfort. The shoe, weighing 435 g in size 42, is equipped with a practical quick release. Additionally, special widths are available on request to meet individual needs. The safety shoe combines safety and comfort for everyday professional use and is ideal for technical professions where safety standards and wearing comfort must go hand in hand.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Very lightweight shoe
The shoe is made of textile material and therefore has a low weight (size 42 less than 500 g). The low weight significantly reduces the effort and energy required from the wearer.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
uvex xenova® system
The high-performance, completely metal-free uvex xenova® system is used to protect the foot in the safety shoe. The protective toe cap fits perfectly and guarantees special comfort when working on the knees and bumping. The flexible, penetration-resistant midsole fits exactly to the insole in its width, does not act as a cold bridge and thus promotes comfort when worn.
