This low-cut shoe combines PU-coated leather with an aluminum toe cap and a metal-free puncture-resistant layer to ensure comprehensive safety. The oil-resistant and antistatic PU outsole also provides excellent shock absorption and slip resistance (SRC), making the shoe ideal for demanding environments. Available in sizes 36 to 47 and in an attractive black/red color scheme, this shoe meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345:2011 in protection class S3. The insole is replaceable and meets orthopedic standards DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259, offering additional comfort and adaptability. Weighing 555 g in size 42 and with a standard width, the shoe remains lightweight and comfortable, while the lace-up closure ensures an optimal fit.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
Ergothan
Ergothan, an efficient shock absorption system, makes the shoes very ergonomic and prevents injuries to the feet. A plastic clasp under the insole makes the shoes stable and provides support for long working days.
