The safety shoe BLACK ESD by Jalas combines high safety standards with modern design and comfort. This low shoe is made of high-quality leather and available in black. It offers comprehensive protection with an aluminum toe cap and a metal-free penetration guard. The oil-resistant rubber outsole is antistatic and provides slip resistance of class SRB, moreover, the shoe is heat resistant (HRO) and cold insulating (CI). The insole of the model is replaceable and meets the orthopedic requirements according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259. With a weight of 605 g in size 42 and the standard width, the shoe offers a comfortable wearing experience. The closure is via laces, which allows for optimal adjustment to the foot. The safety shoe is available in sizes 36 to 47, offering a wide range of size options. Certified according to DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO20345:2011, this safety shoe meets all necessary standards for effective protection at work.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRB
The shoe is slip-resistant on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
Ergothan
Ergothan, an efficient shock absorption system, makes the shoes very ergonomic and prevents injuries to the feet. A plastic clasp under the insole makes the shoes stable and provides support for long working days.
