The Jalas EKO ESD safety shoe combines comfort with comprehensive protection and is specifically designed for technical use. Made from a microfiber and textile surface, this low shoe features a composite toe cap and a metal-free puncture-resistant layer. The ProNose toe cap wear protection technology and a shock absorption zone made of Poron® XRD® enhance durability and wearing comfort.
The oil-resistant PU outsole is antistatic and meets the requirements of EN ISO 20345 S3 SRC, making the shoe ideal for work environments with electronic devices. It is available in sizes 36 to 47 and is characterized by its black color. The Green Line series emphasizes a commitment to environmental compatibility.
Additional features such as a replaceable insole of type FX2 Pro, orthopedic customization options according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259, and a lace-up closure for optimal fit make this shoe particularly versatile. The shoe weighs about 550 g in size 42, making it a lightweight choice. Ideal for professionals who value safety and comfort.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Overcap
The toe cap is usually made of plastic material (e.g. PU or TPU) and is firmly attached to the shoe. It protects the front area of a work shoe from premature wear and thus extends the service life of the safety shoe.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
Ergothan
Ergothan, an efficient shock absorption system, makes the shoes very ergonomic and prevents injuries to the feet. A plastic clasp under the insole makes the shoes stable and provides support for long working days.
