The Sievi Planar 3 S3 ESD safety boots combine advanced safety technology with the highest comfort and modern design. These unisex boots are available in sizes 35 to 48 and feature a black and white color scheme. Equipped with a toe cap and a steel puncture-resistant layer, they offer optimal protection in hazardous work environments. The FlexStep sole ensures secure footing on slippery surfaces, while the 3D-dry lining keeps feet dry and is resistant to oil and chemicals. The boots comply with the standards EN ISO 20345: S3 SRC and DIN EN 61340-5-1, confirming their suitability for ESD-protected areas. The upper material is made from a combination of textile and leather, making the boots water-repellent. For added comfort, the insoles are replaceable and can be orthopedically adjusted in accordance with DGUV 112-191. Weighing 550 g at size 42 and with a standard width of 11.5, these safety boots offer an excellent balance between protection and comfort. The lace-up closure allows for individual adjustment to the foot, and the non-marking outsole prevents marks on the floor.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole steel
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Steel midsoles are not affected by the shape of sharp objects or hazards. However, they only cover 85% of the tread surface. They are often used in the construction industry.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
Water-repellent
DUAL insole
FlexStep®
The FlexStep® outsole with micropores developed by Sievi preserves its excellent shock absorption and elasticity even in frosty conditions. The springy construction of the FlexStep® sole element protects the foot and spine from impact and excessive stress. All Sievi shoes have a FlexStep® sole.
