The SieviAir Galaxy 1 XL S1 ESD safety sandal from Sievi combines advanced safety technologies with high comfort. This unisex sandal is available in sizes 39 to 47 and in the color combination black/orange. The shoes feature a plastic toe cap and a composite toe protector that meet the EN ISO 20345 S1 SRC standards and also comply with the requirements of DIN EN 61340-5-1.
The upper material is made of durable microfiber with additional brushed PU leather at the shoe tip. The 3D-dry lining ensures optimal ventilation and moisture control. The FlexStep sole provides excellent shock absorption and is also oil and chemical resistant. For added comfort, the orthopedically adaptable Sievi Dual Comfort insoles, certified according to DGUV 112-191, are included.
With a standard width of 12 and a weight of only 500 g at size 42, this sandal is ideal for long workdays. The outsole is non-marking, which supports the slip resistance SRC and further increases safety at the workplace.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
