The SieviAir Galaxy 1 S1 ESD safety sandal, manufactured by Sievi, combines the highest level of wearing comfort with comprehensive safety. This ESD-capable sandal is specifically designed for women and features a plastic toe cap and a non-marking outsole, both of which meet the standards EN ISO 20345 S1 SRC and DIN EN 61340-5-1. The upper material is made of durable microfiber and brushed PU leather at the toe, while the 3D-dry lining ensures optimal breathability. The shock-absorbing FlexStep sole provides additional comfort and is oil and chemical resistant. The sandal is available in sizes 36 to 38 and in the color combination black/orange. It features a practical Velcro closure and a replaceable insole of the type Sievi Dual Comfort, which also allows for orthopedic adjustments according to DGUV 112-191. With a weight of up to 500 g at size 42, this model is particularly lightweight yet safe.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
