The Sievi AL Hit 9+ S3HRO ESD safety boot offers an optimal combination of safety and comfort for use in various work environments. This boot is made of durable leather and features an aluminum toe cap and a steel puncture-resistant plate, which protects the foot from external hazards. Additional comfort is provided by the warm lining and an insulating aluminum layer in the insole. The outsole is made of PU/RU and is equipped with the shock-absorbing FlexStep® intermediate layer, which not only increases wearing comfort but is also heat-resistant up to 300°C. Moreover, the boot is oil and chemical resistant and meets the standards EN ISO 20345 S3 SRC HRO. Other features include a slip-resistant SRC rating and a non-marking sole. The boot is available in black/yellow, has a standard width of 11.5, and comes in sizes 35-38. The insole is replaceable and meets orthopedic standards (DGUV 112-191). The weight of the shoe is 850 g in size 42.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole steel
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Steel midsoles are not affected by the shape of sharp objects or hazards. However, they only cover 85% of the tread surface. They are often used in the construction industry.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
Water-repellent
FlexStep®
The FlexStep® outsole with micropores developed by Sievi preserves its excellent shock absorption and elasticity even in frosty conditions. The springy construction of the FlexStep® sole element protects the foot and spine from impact and excessive stress. All Sievi shoes have a FlexStep® sole.
