The Roller High XL+ S3 ESD safety boot from Sievi combines advanced technology with the highest level of comfort. Equipped with an innovative BOA® quick-release system, this shoe allows for quick and easy donning and doffing. The upper is made of PU-coated leather and microfiber, making the boot particularly durable. The composite toe cap and nail penetration protection offer optimal safety in hazardous work environments.
The sole of the boot is made from a combination of PU and TPU and features a shock-absorbing FlexStep® intermediate layer, which provides additional comfort while being oil and chemical resistant. The outsole is non-marking, which enhances safety on various surfaces. Moreover, the boot is certified according to EN ISO 20345 S3 SRC and DIN EN 61340-5-1, making it suitable for electrostatically endangered areas.
Available in black/orange and in sizes 39 to 47, the boot offers a standard width of 12 and a slip-resistant SRC classification. The insole is replaceable and meets the orthopedic requirements of DGUV 112-191. The weight of the shoe in size 42 is approximately 650 g, making it a lightweight choice in its category.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole steel
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Steel midsoles are not affected by the shape of sharp objects or hazards. However, they only cover 85% of the tread surface. They are often used in the construction industry.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
BOA® Fit System
The BOA® Fit System consists of three essential components: a finely adjustable twist lock, a lightweight yet extremely strong rope and low-friction rope guides. All BOA® Fit systems enable a precise fit quickly and effortlessly and come with the BOA® guarantee.
