The Terrain S3 ESD safety shoe from Sievi combines high safety standards with comfort and design. The upper is made of durable nubuck leather and the aluminum toe cap reliably protects your feet. The shoe features a steel puncture-resistant layer and a non-marking, single-layer PU sole with the shock-absorbing FlexStep® interlayer, which is oil and chemical resistant and antistatic. The 3D-dry lining ensures a comfortable foot climate, while the elastic FlexEnergy component offers maximum shock absorption. The shoes are available in brown and in sizes 39 to 47. They meet the standards EN ISO 20345: S3 SRC and DIN EN 61340-5-1, making them an excellent choice for technical and industrial work environments. Additional features like the replaceable Sievi Dual Comfort insole and the option to use orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191 provide extra comfort and adaptability. The half-shoe with lace-up closure and a standard width of 11 is specifically designed for men and weighs 650 g in size 42.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole steel
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Steel midsoles are not affected by the shape of sharp objects or hazards. However, they only cover 85% of the tread surface. They are often used in the construction industry.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
Water-repellent
DUAL insole
3D-dry lining
Das von Sievi entwickelte 3D-dry-Futter leitet die Fußfeuchtigkeit vom Fuß zur zweiten und damit äußeren Schicht des Futtermaterials und weiter durch das Obermaterial aus dem Schuh ab.
FlexStep®
The FlexStep® outsole with micropores developed by Sievi preserves its excellent shock absorption and elasticity even in frosty conditions. The springy construction of the FlexStep® sole element protects the foot and spine from impact and excessive stress. All Sievi shoes have a FlexStep® sole.
FlexEnergy
The FLEXENERGY® suspension element made of the TPU Infinergy® material developed by BASF is integrated into the heel along the entire surface and ensures optimum shock absorption and perfect wearing comfort. The elastic interlayer returns more than 55% of the kinetic energy to your musculoskeletal system.
