The Sievi Viper 2+ S3 ESD safety shoe combines innovative safety features with high comfort for professional use. This ESD-compliant low shoe is made from durable split leather and is available in a striking black-green color combination. The size range extends from 35 to 47, with the shoe weight for size 42 being 600 g.
The toe cap made of composite material and the puncture-resistant steel in the sole area provide optimal protection according to the standards EN ISO 20345: S3 SRC and DIN EN 61340-5-1. For added comfort, the 3D-dry lining effectively transports moisture away. The dual-layer outsole made of PU/TPU with FlexStep® intermediate layer is not only shock-absorbent but also oil- and chemical-resistant as well as slip-resistant (SRC).
Additional features include the practical lace-up closure, the replaceable Sievi Dual Comfort insole, and the option to use orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191. The shoe is suitable for both men and women and offers a standard width of 11. Ideal for work environments that require the highest safety standards.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole steel
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Steel midsoles are not affected by the shape of sharp objects or hazards. However, they only cover 85% of the tread surface. They are often used in the construction industry.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
Water-repellent
DUAL insole
3D-dry lining
Das von Sievi entwickelte 3D-dry-Futter leitet die Fußfeuchtigkeit vom Fuß zur zweiten und damit äußeren Schicht des Futtermaterials und weiter durch das Obermaterial aus dem Schuh ab.
FlexStep®
The FlexStep® outsole with micropores developed by Sievi preserves its excellent shock absorption and elasticity even in frosty conditions. The springy construction of the FlexStep® sole element protects the foot and spine from impact and excessive stress. All Sievi shoes have a FlexStep® sole.
