The IMPULSE Green Easy ESD safety sandal from Elten combines functionality and comfort for industrial use. This unisex model is available in sizes 36 to 47 and features a striking black-green color scheme. The sandal is equipped with a lightweight plastic toe cap and meets the S1P safety class. Thanks to the TPU/PU sole BIOMEX DYNAMICS, the shoe offers excellent slip resistance (SRC) as well as resistance to oil and chemicals, and is also antistatic according to DIN EN 61340-5-1. The microfiber surface and breathable textile lining ensure a comfortable wearing experience, while the padded tongue provides additional comfort. The insole is replaceable and meets the orthopedic requirements of DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259, making the shoe also suitable for orthopedic adjustments. The Velcro fastener allows for easy putting on and taking off. Weighing only 500 g at size 42, this shoe is particularly lightweight yet still offers effective penetration protection without metal.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
Reflective material
In rain, in the shade, at dusk and in the dark, people wearing dark clothing are only noticed at a distance of about 30 meters. Equipped with reflective materials, it provides additional protection through good visibility even in adverse weather and light conditions.
