The safety shoe JORAN blue Low from Elten is a highly functional ESD safety shoe suitable for both men and women. This low-cut shoe combines modern design in black and blue with advanced safety technology. The upper material is made from a mix of textile and microfiber, making the shoe particularly breathable.
Equipped with a plastic toe cap and a metal-free puncture-resistant midsole made of EVA and TPU, the shoe offers effective protection according to the standards EN ISO 20345 S3L FO, HRO, SC, SR, and DIN EN 61340-5-1. The rubber outsole is oil and chemical resistant as well as antistatic and provides excellent slip resistance. The innovative Boa® closure allows for quick, individual adjustment and increases wearing comfort.
The shoe is available in sizes 36 to 48 and is characterized by a standard width and a light weight of 438 grams for size 42. The ESD PRO black insole is replaceable, and orthopedic adjustments are supported by the DGUV 112-191 standard, making the JORAN blue Low especially recommended for long-term professional use.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3S
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant textile insole (tested with a 3 mm test nail with at least 1100 N pressure), a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SR
The shoe is slip-resistant on ceramic tile floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Overcap
The toe cap is usually made of plastic material (e.g. PU or TPU) and is firmly attached to the shoe. It protects the front area of a work shoe from premature wear and thus extends the service life of the safety shoe.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
