The JORAN yellow Low safety shoe from Elten combines functionality and safety in a modern design. This ESD-capable low shoe is equipped with a plastic cap and meets the safety class S3S, making it ideal for work environments where oil- and chemical-resistant as well as antistatic shoes are required. The innovative Boa® closure technology allows for quick, individual adjustment, while the upper material made of textile and microfiber ensures breathability and comfort. The slip-resistant rubber sole provides excellent traction, and the midsole made of TPU and EVA promises lasting support and shock absorption. Additionally, the shoes are equipped with a replaceable ESD PRO black insole that supports orthopedic adjustments according to DGUV 112-191. Available in sizes 36 to 48 and in the color combination black/yellow, the shoe weighs only 438 g in size 42, thus offering a lightweight yet protective solution for everyday work. The JORAN yellow Low complies with the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 S3L FO,HRO,SC,SR, underscoring its suitability for demanding industrial applications.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3S
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant textile insole (tested with a 3 mm test nail with at least 1100 N pressure), a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SR
The shoe is slip-resistant on ceramic tile floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Overcap
The toe cap is usually made of plastic material (e.g. PU or TPU) and is firmly attached to the shoe. It protects the front area of a work shoe from premature wear and thus extends the service life of the safety shoe.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
