The safety shoe LANDON grey Low ESD by Elten combines functionality and comfort for professional use. This low shoe from the WELLMAXX series is specifically designed for men and is available in sizes 40 to 48. The upper material is made of a robust microfiber and textile, ensuring high breathability. A padded tongue and the breathable textile lining provide additional comfort. The steel toe cap and the TPU/PU sole MAXXIMO with an innovative core made of Infinergy® by BASF offer optimal cushioning and make the shoe oil and chemical resistant as well as antistatic. The sole meets the slip resistance class SRC according to EN ISO 20345 S1 SRC, which guarantees the highest safety at work. Moreover, the shoes are ESD compliant according to DIN EN 61340-5-1 and suitable for use in electrostatically sensitive areas. The insole ESD SPORTIVE black is replaceable, and there is the possibility to use orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259. The shoe weighs about 483 g in size 42 and is offered with a practical lace-up closure.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
BASF Infinergy®
Elastic like rubber, but resiliently light. The world's first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU). Combines the properties of TPU with the advantages of foams. Infinergy® has a low density, is extremely elastic and abrasion-resistant and has very good resilience.
