The LARKIN black-grey Low ESD safety shoe from Elten combines sporty design with high functionality for professional use. The upper is made of seamless mesh, complemented by a padded tongue and a breathable textile lining, which is also leather-free. The sturdy steel toe cap and the penetration-resistant, metal-free protection ensure safety, while the TPU/PU sole WELLMAXX SPORTS, equipped with an Infinergy® core from BASF, provides optimal cushioning. The sole is also slip-resistant (SRA) and meets the standards EN ISO 20345 S1P and DIN EN 61340-5-1. Available in sizes 35 to 48, the shoe is suitable for both genders. The weight is 540 g for size 42. Other features include a replaceable ESD SPORTIVE black insole, which also meets orthopedic requirements according to DGUV 112-191, as well as a practical lace-up closure. The shoe also meets the requirements P, A, E, FO and is an excellent choice for professionals who value comfort, safety, and durability.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRA
The shoe is slip-resistant on ceramic tile floors with NaLS (sodium sulfate solution).
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
