The safety shoe LELAND GTX grey Low ESD by Elten combines modern design with high-quality functionality for professional use. This model is specifically available for men in sizes 40 to 48 and features an attractive black-grey color scheme. The surface is made of a hydrophobic textile and microfiber material, which, along with a padded tongue and a GORE-TEX® Special Comfort Footwear lining, ensures optimal wearing comfort.
The safety features include a robust steel toe cap and a metal-free penetration guard. The TPU/PU sole MAXXIMO with a core made of Infinergy® by BASF guarantees excellent cushioning properties and is also oil- and chemical-resistant as well as antistatic. The slip resistance class SRC according to EN ISO 20345 S3 and additional standards such as DIN EN 61340-5-1 confirm the high safety level of the shoe. The insole is replaceable and meets the orthopedic requirements according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259.
Weighing about 536 g in size 42 and featuring a practical lace-up closure, this low shoe from the WELLMAXX series offers not only safety but also comfort and style for the demanding wearer.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
BASF Infinergy®
Elastic like rubber, but resiliently light. The world's first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU). Combines the properties of TPU with the advantages of foams. Infinergy® has a low density, is extremely elastic and abrasion-resistant and has very good resilience. Infinergy® also has a permanent load-bearing capacity in a wide temperature range (-20 to over +40°C).
GORE-TEX®
The GORE-TEX laminate prevents water from penetrating the shoe, but still allows your feet to "breathe". This technology offers ideal climate comfort for all outdoor activities, even in the most adverse weather conditions. All components (leather, textile) including the entire shoe construction are precisely matched to each other and are subject to constant quality controls.
