The safety shoe NEWTON black Low ESD from Elten combines modern design with highly functional safety features. This low shoe is made from hydrophobic textile material and nubuck leather, making it particularly breathable. The integrated steel toe cap and the PU/PU sole WELLMAXX L10, equipped with an Infinergy® core from BASF, ensure optimal cushioning and make the shoe oil and chemical resistant as well as antistatic. The sole also offers excellent slip resistance according to EN ISO 20345 S2 SRC. Available in sizes 36 to 48 and in the color Black/Grey, this unisex model is aimed at a wide range of users. The ESD PRO grey insole is replaceable, and the shoe is suitable for orthopedic adjustments according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259. With a weight of 541 g in size 42 and the ability to be optimally adjusted via the lacing closure, this shoe offers comfort and safety for everyday professional life.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S2
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area and a fuel-resistant sole.
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
