The NEWTON blue Low ESD safety shoe from Elten combines modern design with high functionality and safety. This unisex low shoe is available in sizes from 36 to 48 and comes in an attractive blue. The upper is made of hydrophobic textile and nubuck leather, which, along with the breathable textile lining, ensures optimal wearing comfort. The steel toe cap and the PU/PU sole WELLMAXX L10 with a sole core made of Infinergy® by BASF guarantee excellent cushioning properties and make the shoe oil- and chemical-resistant as well as antistatic. The sole also offers excellent slip resistance according to EN ISO 20345 S2 SRC. Orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259 provide additional adaptability. The shoe features a replaceable ESD PRO grey insole and a practical lace-up closure. Weighing about 530 g in size 42, this safety shoe is an ideal choice for various work environments that require high safety standards.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S2
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area and a fuel-resistant sole.
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
