The SENEX XXT ESD safety shoe from Elten combines high safety standards with modern technology and comfort. This unisex low shoe is available in sizes 36 to 48 and offers an attractive design with its black-red color scheme. The upper material is made of a combination of hydrophobic microfiber and CORDURA® textile, which ensures breathability and durability. The closed, padded tongue and the breathable textile lining significantly increase wearing comfort. The safety features include a plastic toe cap and a metal-free penetration guard, which comply with the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1, EN ISO 20345 S3, and SRC. The PU/PU sole WELLMAXX TRAINERS, with a core made of Infinergy® by BASF, provides excellent slip resistance and is also oil and chemical resistant. The sole is antistatic and the ESD PRO black insole is replaceable, supported by the option to use orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259. The weight of the shoe in size 42 is about 550 g, making it a lightweight choice for everyday use. With lace-up closure for a custom fit, this shoe is ideal for anyone who values safety and comfort.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
BASF Infinergy®
Elastic like rubber, but resiliently light. The world's first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU). Combines the properties of TPU with the advantages of foams. Infinergy® has a low density, is extremely elastic and abrasion-resistant and has very good resilience. Infinergy® also has a permanent load-bearing capacity in a wide temperature range (-20 to over +40°C).
Reflective material
In rain, in the shade, at dusk and in the dark, people wearing dark clothing are only noticed at a distance of about 30 meters. Equipped with reflective materials, it provides additional protection through good visibility even in adverse weather and light conditions.
