The SENEX XXT Pro BOA® ESD from Elten is a highly functional safety shoe specifically designed for demanding work environments. This unisex low shoe, available in sizes 36 to 48, combines safety and comfort in an attractive black and red design. The upper material is made of hydrophobic microfiber and CORDURA® textile, which is not only breathable but also features a closed, padded tongue. The innovative PU/PU sole WELLMAXX TRAINERS, equipped with an Infinergy® core from BASF, guarantees excellent slip resistance (SRC) and is oil and chemical resistant. The shoe has a plastic toe cap and a metal-free penetration guard, qualifying it according to EN ISO 20345 S3 and DIN EN 61340-5-1 for ESD environments. The Boa® closure system facilitates quick donning and doffing of the shoe, while the replaceable ESD PRO black insole and the option to use orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259 provide additional comfort and adaptability. Weighing about 550 g in size 42, this shoe is an excellent choice for safety and functionality at the workplace.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
BASF Infinergy®
Elastic like rubber, but resiliently light. The world's first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU). Combines the properties of TPU with the advantages of foams. Infinergy® has a low density, is extremely elastic and abrasion-resistant and has very good resilience. Infinergy® also has a permanent load-bearing capacity in a wide temperature range (-20 to over +40°C).
BOA® Fit System
The BOA® Fit System consists of three essential components: a finely adjustable twist lock, a lightweight yet extremely strong rope and low-friction rope guides. All BOA® Fit systems enable a precise fit quickly and effortlessly and come with the BOA® guarantee.
Reflective material
In rain, in the shade, at dusk and in the dark, people wearing dark clothing are only noticed at a distance of about 30 meters. Equipped with reflective materials, it provides additional protection through good visibility even in adverse weather and light conditions.
