The safety shoe SENSATION XXT Mid ESD by Elten combines modern design with advanced safety technology. This unisex boot is available in sizes from 36 to 48 and features an appealing jeans look. The upper material is made of hydrophobic textile and nubuck leather, complemented by a padded tongue and a lining made of Bioactive textile. The innovative PU/PU sole WELLMAXX TRAINERS, equipped with a sole core made of Infinergy® by BASF, ensures optimal cushioning and is also oil and chemical resistant as well as antistatic. The shoes meet the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1, EN ISO 20345 S2, and SRC, making them particularly slip-resistant. The plastic toe cap effectively protects against impacts and pressure. For added comfort, there is the replaceable ESD PRO grey insole. Orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259 are also compatible. The shoe with lace-up closure weighs 573 g in size 42, making it a lightweight choice for work safety.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S2
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area and a fuel-resistant sole.
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
BASF Infinergy®
